In Kommetjie you find our purpose build training-centre with it's own training-pool. Our fully stocked retail shop has a large range of dive equipment and accessories. The Cape Town shop is our booking office and meeting point with daily transport to the Kommetjie shop and dive sites.

Detour Africa also has it's office there and they can do all other travel and adventure bookings, your 1 stop travel centre where experienced consultants can help you.

Kommentjie Shop

Our Kommetjie shop, with our own purpose build training-pool is situated in the middle of the Cape Peninsula, between Fishhoek, Glencairn and Kommetjie. All the major dive sites both on the Atlantic and False Bay coast are a short drive from our dive centre. That makes it perfectly positioned to start your diving adventure. The centre in Kommetjie has all the facilities that you can expect from a modern dive centre; 2 classrooms, changing rooms, out side showers, refreshment area, sundeck and of course our purpose build swimming pool

This is one of the most beautiful areas in Cape Town, with stunning views of the mountains and ocean. Quality restaurants and accommodation are available along the coast. All this is only 30min from Cape Town centre.

Cape Town Shop

Our Cape Town shop is located on lively Long Street, in the heart of the Cape Town city bowl. We share our shop there with Detourafrica travel centre who can help you with all your other travel enquiry's.

It is surrounded by restaurants, pubs, hotels, backpackers and the many 'delights' that the area offers. Long Street has a vibrant atmosphere and is never boring (just ask the staff!). Longsteet is very cool.
